ATEX Ex protected Tags

The protection for ATEX EX of this Transponder allows to carry the Tag on people or assets which enter explosive areas. The Tag is certified to its extremes for excellent performance and safety.

Fulfilled certifications:

• ATEX directive 94/9/EC based on the standards EN 60079 (Gas) and EN 61241 (Dust)
• Ex II 2 G Ex ib IIC T4
• Ex II 2 D Ex ibD IP67

The Tag has multifunction features which allow for read & write operations to the user data memory of 112 bytes, to mute and wake-up of the Tag, and to modificate the signalization rate. The mute function is particularly well suited to air transport. The Tag's service life of 6 to 10 years, depending on usage, is extremely long.
